Why restore your website under Plesk?

The restoration tool available in Plesk allows you to restore the data from your web space to an earlier date. Among the data you can restore, there are:

• Restoration of your domain name configuration.
• Restoration of email configuration and its content (emails).
• Restoration of files and the SQL Server database.

In order to restore this data, you must first have performed a backup. Restoring your website and your data only takes a few minutes. You can choose between a partial restoration (certain data only) or a full restoration of your web space.

How do you restore your website from Plesk?

1. Log in to your Plesk management interface.

2. Click on the "Backup Managers" tab located at the top right of your screen.

3. Click on the backup you want to restore to your web space.

4. Configure the restoration of your web space:

• What do you want to restore: [PERSON_NAME] selected (the website, emails only, or the domain name configuration) or all objects (the entire backup of your web space)
• Object type to restore: You can choose between the site, the site and the database, emails only, or the domain name configuration. The object type is only used if you have previously selected partial restoration of your data (selected objects)

Check the object you want to restore and click the "Select" button.

5. [PERSON_NAME] restoration configuration:

• Restore: Choose between "Configuration and content of selected objects" or "Configuration of selected objects only"
• [PERSON_NAME] the [ADDRESS] until the end of the restoration: Allows you to suspend your site for the time needed to set up the restoration on your web space.
• Receive a notification by email

As soon as the configuration is complete, click the "Restore" button to start restoring your site under Plesk.
