  • Customer Eligibility: The offer is valid for both new and existing LWS customers, provided that the migration is carried out to a newly acquired product.
  • Popular CMSs: Free migration is available for CMSs such as WordPress, PrestaShop, Joomla, Moodle, phpBB. We do not support migration of sites created via a PHP Framework, the Drupal CMS, non-standard WordPress versions such as BedRock, or technologies such as Python, Ruby, Django or Node.JS. Sites created via WordPress.com cannot be migrated.
  • Email Provider: We can migrate the content of all your email addresses except Microsoft Exchange and Google Workspace.
  • Limitation of Liability: LWS is not responsible for post-migration issues that were not reported before the DNS change of the domain name.
  • Migration Volume Limitation: The amount of data to be transferred must not exceed 20GB for all websites combined and 10 GB / email address. We migrate up to 1 website and 2 email addresses for cPanel M and LWS Perso plans, 3 websites and 5 email addresses for LWS Starter and cPanel L plans, and 5 websites and 10 email addresses for LWS Performances, cPanel XL and Cloud cPanel plans. Beyond that, a managed service package of one hour per website or 30 minutes per email address is required.

    • The migration timeframe will depend on the speed of data retrieval and transfer.

  5. Post-Migration Check:

Il n’est malheureusement pas possible de migrer un site créé chez Wix vers LWS, car les fichiers sources du site ne sont pas accessibles ni exportables depuis leur éditeur. Wix fonctionne sur une plateforme propriétaire, ce qui empêche le transfert direct vers un autre hébergeur.

Cependant, comme vous avez changé de nom de domaine, vous pouvez le rattacher à votre site Wix afin de continuer à l’utiliser. Pour cela, Wix exige que vous disposiez d’un abonnement Premium chez eux, car cette fonctionnalité n’est pas disponible avec un compte gratuit.

N’hésitez pas à revenir vers nous si vous souhaitez plutôt créer un nouveau site chez LWS à partir de zéro (WordPress, HTML/CSS, etc.).

Si vous souhaitez modifier vos serveurs DNS, il est important de bien vérifier que le rapatriement de la zone DNS qui est actuellement appliqué chez votre prestataire a été répliqué, notamment si vous utilisez des services externes.

N'hésitez surtout pas à nous contacter si vous souhaitez avoir davantage d'assistance concernant ces modifications.

Concernant les serveurs DNS à modifier au niveau de votre nom de domaine, cela dépend également si le nom de domaine est géré par LWS ou non.

Il est donc préférable que vous preniez contact avec le support technique afin qu'une assistance répondant exactement à votre besoin vous soit apportée. 

N'hésitez donc surtout pas à ouvrir une demande dans la catégorie "Migration de site vers LWS" afin qu'une assistance vous soit apportée dans les meilleurs délais.

Notre équipe travaille avec une agence web spécialisée dans ce type de démarche, car l’outil de création IONOS ne fonctionne que chez IONOS.
Une fois la prestation réalisée, le site vous appartient et peut être hébergé n’importe où.

A l'heure actuelle, si l’outil IONOS est arrêté ou si vous souhaitez changer d’hébergeur, le fait d’avoir créé le site via leur outil spécifique sera un vrai point bloquant.

Bonjour,

Wix est une solution SaaS (Software as a Service), c’est-à-dire une plateforme hébergée et gérée directement par Wix. Contrairement à un site développé avec un CMS comme WordPress, il n’est pas possible de transférer directement l’ensemble de votre site Wix vers un hébergement LWS.

Pour héberger votre site chez LWS, il sera donc nécessaire de recréer votre site sur une nouvelle plateforme, en reprenant vos contenus, vos images et votre mise en page. Cette opération implique de refaire le site, car il n’existe pas de méthode permettant de le migrer à l’identique automatiquement.

Vous pouvez toutefois récupérer vos contenus et vos images depuis Wix afin de faciliter cette reconstruction.

Concernant le coût, l’hébergement chez LWS peut être proposé selon différentes offres, mais la reconstruction du site reste à votre charge si vous souhaitez la réaliser gratuitement.
