Your data stored on [ADDRESS] Drive is automatically backed up by LWS on separate NAS from your storage space. [ADDRESS] retention is up to 4 days for daily backups + up to 1 month for weekly backups. If needed, restoration is done upon request to support from your client area, handled on a case-by-case basis — for free or through managed services depending on the complexity of the work.

LWS Backup Policy for Your Data

LWS automatically backs up the data present on your [ADDRESS], stored on separate NAS to protect you against technical incidents:

  • Up to 4 daily backups are kept (last 4 days)
  • Beyond 4 days: 1 weekly backup retained, within a limit of 1 month

This LWS retention policy is specific to [ADDRESS] services, Online storage Nextcloud, and servers (VPS / dedicated). [PERSON_NAME] shared web hosting ([PERSON_NAME] 3 months with the Business Option).

How to request a restoration?

To recover a previous version of your data from our backups, contact our support from your client area. The restoration is handled on a case-by-case basis: depending on the complexity of the work to be done, it may be covered for free or may require a managed intervention. Our team will inform you of the conditions at the time of your request.

Are my data replicated in case of disk failure?

Yes. The ZFS infrastructure with RAID-Z and double replication on independent physical servers allows our team to replace faulty drives without interruption or data loss.

Is my data hosted in [ADDRESS]?

Yes, all data stored on [ADDRESS] and its backups are hosted in [ADDRESS], in ISO 27001 certified datacentres and GDPR compliant.

What happens to my backups after terminating my subscription?
